Colegio Einstein is part of UNESCO's "International Holocaust and Genocide Education Program" project.

From February 12 to 18, the project's working meeting was held in Washington DC, which brought together 37 educators from 11 cities: Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, Ecuador, Greece, India, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Serbia and UAE. Our school was the only participating educational institution, and we were represented by Sol Paz, Manager of the Muñoz Borrero Center, who is part of the bilateral team between Colombia and Ecuador. During 5 days educators, civil society leaders, academics and ministers of state learned ways to build on the lessons of the Holocaust, to reflect on the violent past of their own cities. A work that will conclude in the development of practical solutions to prevent genocide and violence through education.
