Overview of the Preschool

Early childhood education at the Einstein School is heavily influenced by the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning which calls for a child-centered emergent curriculum that largely progresses through project-based learning. A child’s natural sense of curiosity about the world, their questions, play and stories offer teachers opportunities to help the child apply concepts of every discipline. In Einstein School’s early-learning classrooms, children engage every day in thought provoking, challenging play which is actually enriched experimentation with math, physics, language, art, social studies and literacy. Staff balances supportive and directive roles in the students’ learning while providing an environment rich in opportunity for hands-on experiences. Einstein School cultivates an authentic passion of exploration and a lifelong love of learning.
